Services Tuesday For E.E. Buckles

To Be Buried Today at Troy; Survived by Wife, Two Sons and One Brother.
**Handwritten: Oct. 27 1945

Funeral services for E.E. Buckles, 63, will be held at his home, 1 1-4 miles east of Troy, at 1:30 o'clock this afternoon. The services will be in charge of the Rev. Harold Day of Ottumwa.

Lucille Kongable will sing, with Ellen Martin at the organ. Pallbearers are Matt Ballman, Harve Russell, F.S. Russell, Art Casady, E.B. Parks and Marvin Duvall. Burial will be at the Troy cemetery.

Mr. Buckles died Saturday evening at 7 o'clock at his home, where he had been seriously ill several weeks. He had been in failing health for a year.

Surviving are his wife, Ethel; two sons, Ellsworth and Harlan, both living near their parents; three grandchildren, and one brother, George R. Buckles of Keosauqua.
