Harry E. Doud, 59, Dies in St. Louis
**Handwritten: 1942Former Van Buren County Resident Victim of Heart Attack; Funeral Held Friday at Douds.
Funeral services for Harry E. Doud of St. Louis, Mo., a former Douds resident who died in St. Louis of a heart attack Sunday, were held Friday afternoon at Douds at the home of his sister, Mrs. Roscoe Pollock.
The services were in charge of the Rev. E.K. Parrott of Douds. Singers were Mrs. Mabel Daniels and Mrs. Mabel Finney, with Miss Rosemary Greenfield as acompanist(sp).
Burial was at the Mt. Moriah cemetery north of Douds and the bearers were Robert Pollock, Davis Pollock, Charley Benning, A.L. Doud, Jr., Mark Doud and W.A. Carson.
Mr. Doud, who was 59 years old, is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Roscoe Pollock and Mrs. Theodore Gilbert of Douds and Mrs. Nellie Bathan of Keokuk, and two brothers, John and Lee Doud of Keosauqua.
