CLYDE MILLER RITES HELD LAST FRIDAY

Funeral services for Clyde W. Miller were held Friday, March 5 at 2 p.m. in the Leando church. Rev. M.O. Wyatt officiated at the service. Interment was in the Leando cemetery.

Clyde Wilbur Miller

Clyde Wilbur Miller, son of George and Minerva Miller, was born at While Elm in Davis County, Iowa, Dec. 20, 1878 and departed this life at his home three miles southeast at Douds on March 3, 1948 at 6:25 p.m. He had been in failing health for some time ????? seriously ill for (unreadable)

On Nov. 26, 1902 he united in marriage (with) Mary Ann ????. To this union was born one son, Charles Homer.

He leaves to mourn his parting his wife Mary, son Homer and wife Josephine, three grandchildren, Jeanne, Paul and James; one sister, Mrs. Gertrude Brooks of Eldon and many nieces and nephews and a host of friends. He was a member of the Methodist church of Leando. He was a kind husband and loving father and a good kind neighbor, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
