GEORGE E. MOFFETT.

KEOSAUQUA. - George Edwin Moffett, 29, died at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday following a stroke in the office of Dr. J.W. Rinabarger. He has been ill since February when he had a light stroke and was taken to the hospital at Kirksville, Mo., and Iowa City. He had returned to his farm home near Lebanon, where he was convalescing.

He was born near Wyaconda, Mo., and had lived the last six years near Lebanon.

Surviving are his wife, Marietta, two sons, Joe and Ray, two daughters, Violet and Nancy. One son preceded him in death. He is also survived by his mother, Mrs. Nellie Moffett, and five brothers and two sisters, including Mrs. Fern Gwinnup of Keosauqua.

The body is at the Burnett funeral home.
