JOHN H. FERGUSON.

John H. Ferguson, 60, of 337 North Sheridan avenue, died Sunday at 6:05 p.m. at the Ottumwa hospital.

The son of William and Margaret Ferguson, he was born April 8, 1888 in Astoria, Ill., and had been a resident of Ottumwa for the past 40 years.

Mr. Ferguson is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Louise Rice of Ottumwa and Mrs. Dorothy Plank of Council Bluffs; a grandson, Larry Plank of Council Bluffs; and two brothers, P.C. Ferguson of Ottumwa and Hugh Ferguson of Sioux City.

Preceding him in death were his wife, Rose, in March of 1938; his parents, four brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Johnson funeral chapel in charge of the Rev. Harold Drown of the First Presbyterian church. Burial will be in Ottumwa cemetery.
