Henry E. Ritz, 75, Dies In Hotel Room

Henry E. Ritz, 75, retired Eldon businessman, died suddenly shortly after noon today at the Ballingall hotel where he was making his home. Physicians said death was caused by a heart attack.

A lifelong resident of Eldon, Ritz had served as cashier of the Eldon bank for many years, later engaging in the lumber and insurance business about seven years ago.

Mr. and Mrs. Ritz returned from Florida January 18 and had taken an apartment at the Ballingall.

He is survived by his wife and two sisters, Mrs. Cora Brindell of Portland, Ore., and Mrs. Ethel Peacock of San Jose, Calif.

The body is at the Lester Jay funeral home pending completion of funeral arrangements.
