Mrs. Lucetta Rambo Dies At Age of 99
**Handwritten: 55Mrs. Lucetta E. Rambo, who would have been 99 years old nest month, died at 2 a.m. today at her home, 621 North Wapello street.
The daughter of Andrew and Mary McCullough, she was born November 27, 1956(1856), on a farm near Douds. She was married March 3, 1881, to Dr. J.W. Rambo. They moved to Colorado in 1884 and he practiced medicine there until his death in 1916. She returned to Ottumwa shortly thereafter.
She was one of a family of 12 children. She was preceded in death by six sisters and two brothers. Survivors include a daughter, Dorothy of Ottumwa, a brother, J.E. McCullough, Sioux City, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Rambo was a member of First Methodist church here. She also was a past matron of the Eastern Star and a 50-year member of that organization.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at First Methodist church, conducted by the Rev. Paul Hann, D.D., pastor. Burial will be in Ottumwa cemetery. The body is at the Jan funeral home.
