BLOOMFIELD. - Charles W. Barker, 67-year-old farmer, died Wednesday at 9:15 a.m. at his home northeast of Bloomfield after a short illness.

A lifelong resident of Davis county, Mr. Barker is survived by his wife, Sylvia; one daughter, Mrs. R.O. Noel of Ottumwa; two sons, Charles Lowell Barker of Floris and Teddy Rex Barker of Bloomfield; three brothers Jess and John Barker of Bloomfield and Joe Barker of Ottumwa, and one sister, Mrs. Sadie Tharp of Bloomfield.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Wagler funeral home, in charge of the Rev. Lowell Colston of Albia. Burial will be in Rouch Rouch cemetery.
