MRS. LEVI PLOWMAN
DOUDS. - Mary Meger Plowman, 83, wife of Levi Plowman, died of a heart attack at 8 p.m. Tuesday at her farm home, two miles south of Douds. She had been in failing health for some time.
**Handwritten: ??? 8 - 50Born in Germany, she came to the Douds community at the age of 20. Besides her husband, she leaves two daughters, Mrs. Bertha Smith of Mt. Ayr and Mrs. Weltha Parker of Ottumwa; a son, Theodore Plowman of Doud; and a sister, Mrs. Christina Lute of Ottumwa.
The body is at the Pedrick funeral home, where services are tentatively planned for 2 p.m. on Friday. The Rev. Robert Farr will be in charge. Burial will be in the Leando cemetery.
