Dale Brown, gunner, has been officially listed as dead, according to word received Friday by his wife and mother. He had been reported missing in action over Germany since December 31. He formerly farmed near Lebanon and graduated from the Cantril high school.

Surviving is his wife, Mrs. Fay Brown of Bonaparte, who has recently been employed in Ft. Madison; his mother, Mrs. Homer Woodin of Cantril and a sister, Mrs. Harley McDowell of Lawton, Oklahoma.
