S.S. MORROW DIES AT HOME NEAR DOUDS
**Handwritten: 1922

Douds, May 15. - Sylvanus S. Morrow, a well known farmer residing one mile west of town, died suddenly Saturday evening at his home, his aged wife being the only one present at the time.

Mr. Morrow had been in poor health for several weeks. About 7 o'clock Saturday evening he was sitting on the porch at his home, his wife being engaged in some work. On looking for him she found he had fallen forward on his face, and death must have been instantaneous. A physician pronounced the cause of death heart failure.

Mr. Morrow was 31 years old, and is survived by his widow, two sons, Charles, living in Kansas, and Guy living at Des Moines, New Mexico and Revia Harryman, a granddaughter, living near Leando. No definite hour has been fixed for the funeral which probably well be on Wednesday.

**Transcriber's note: I believe his age may be wrong as both of his sons are living elsewhere and he has a granddaughter.**
