MRS. JENNIE HILL HARRYMAN.

Jennie Hill Harryman was born in Davis county, Iowa, August 8, 1873, and died of pneumonia after only nine days illness at her home, near Leando, Iowa, February, 7, 1908, aged 34 years, 5 months and 29 days. She was converted and joined the M.E. church on the West Grove circuit, when 15 years of age, and took an active part in church and Sunday school work until her marriage, when family cares prevented her from doing so.

She transferred her membership in the church, from West Grove, to Leando. Impressive services were held at the Leando M.E. church, Sunday, February 9, 1908, at 11 a.m. conducted by Rev. Jones assisted by Rev. Thompson, of Ottumwa. Numerous and beautiful floral tributes were received from friends and relatives. The remains were taken to the Leando cemetery, where they were laid to rest. A large concourse of sorrowing friends were there in sympathy with the bereaved husband and children, Harvey, Dewey, Joseph, Ruth, Esther, and Harold, father and mother, two brothers, two sisters, Ellsworth T. Hill, of Bloomfield, Iowa, Ernest J. Hill, of Grand Junction, Colorado, Mrs. J.P. Rhodes, of Milton, Iowa, and Miss Ruby Hill, of Bloomfield, Iowa. She was the eldest daughter of Joseph T. and Amanda Hill. She was highly respected, possessing rare attainments as teacher in the Davis county schools previous to her marriage, and will be greatly missed in her home and the community where she lived.
