OBITURIES.MRS. ANNA M. SNYDER
Died, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Easling, in Hutchison, Kansas, May 16th, 1900, Mrs. Anna M. Snyder, aged 78 years and 24 days. Her maiden name was Twessy. She was born in Pennsylvania, near Philadelphia, April 8, 1822. She was married to Adam Snyder in her native state on March 11, 1847. To this union two children were born, Wm. M. and Adlaide V. They cam to Iowa in 1859, or '60, and settled in Van Buren county near Bentonsport, where they made their home until the death of her husband, January 8, 1893. Mrs. Snyder was for many years a member of the Presbyterian church, and lived a consistent life, highly respected by all who knew her. She leaves to mourn their loss a son, daughter, brother, sister, and nine grand children. The funeral took place from the Presbyterian church in Bentonsport on Sunday, May 20, 1900, Rev. G.W. Barber, of Farmington, conducting the service.
