The funeral of Mrs. Cora Oakes, the wife of Peter Oakes, the candy manufacturer, who died at her home. No 1816 South Compton avenue, Thursday, of nephritis, will be held to-morrow from the residence. It will be private.

Mrs. Oakes, who was Miss Cora Brooks, married Mr. Oakes at Philadelphia four years ago, when she was 21 years old and he 64. She was the niece of his second wife, who died at year previous to his marriage to the niece.

A son was born to Mrs. Oakes two weeks ???. She was his third wife . . . (remainder missing)
