Last Monday evening occurred the death of one more of the the old citizens of our neighboring town of Vernon in the person of Mrs. Glasscock, widow of the late Chapin Glasscock. She lived with her daughter Mrs. Frank Scott, and was nearly seventy years old. She leaves a family of six children, three boys, and three girls. All the children will be in attendance at the funeral with the exception of one daughter, a Mrs. Bradford, who resides in California. The funeral will occur on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, the remains being interred in the Vernon cemetery . . .
