The Funeral of Mrs. Macklin.

The body of Mrs. Edson Macklin was taken to Anson, Mo., last Wednesday for burial, and the remains were followed to that place by a large number of mourning relatives and friends.

On arriving at Anson funeral services were held in the Anson church, Rev. Wehn of this city officiating. The church was crowded with friends of the deceased, who thus gathered to pay their last tribute to the dead, who in life had been respected and loved by them. It was a sad home coming.

The remains were then lowered to the last resting place.

The Bee wishes to join with the many friends in extending heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved family.
