--Mrs. Maria Pender, aged 82 years, June 2 1904, died Monday evening, Dec. 5, 1904, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Floe Fritsinger in Harrisburg township. Thursday of last week she fell and broke her hip, from which time she suffered intensely until her death. She is the mother of Thomas Pender of Bonaparte, Mrs. Fritsinger at whose home she died, Mrs. Henry Aylor and Ellsworth Pender of Keosauqua and Mrs. Robert Delaney of Cantril. She also has a daughter in Cedar county, Mo., Mrs. Lucy Anson. She resided in this county since 1847 and was a lady held in high esteem by all her acquaintances. Her husband died seven years ago. She was buried yesterday at 2 o'clock by the side of her husband in the Fellows cemetery near Keosauqua.
