. . . Mrs Ellen Sharp, wife of S.H. Sharp of the Hotel Sharp, died at her home in this city Thursday morning at eight o'clock. The funeral ws held from the home Sunday afternoon. A large concourse of friends and relatives attended to show the last tribute of love and respect to this good woman, whose life had been spent in this community and whose many deeds of charity and neighborly love and kindness make her memory beloved by all. Her maiden name was Ellen Keith. She was born in Bonaparte in 1848. She was married in 1866 to John Zigenfuss and had three children, two sons and a daughter. The sons are living, one in St. Louis, John W.; the other Harry, whose home is in Bonaparte. In 1885 she was married to S.H. Sharp in Eldon. They have two children, Edward and Jane, who live with their father and are left to mourn this good and loving mother. Rev. Walter Barber, a life long friend of Mrs. Sharp, delivered the funeral sermon and spoke of the long friendship existing and the many admirable and loving traits of character in this life. The floral offerings were many and beautiful, a number being sent from St. Louis by the postoffice employees, associates of Mrs. Sharp's son, John, who was present at the funeral.
