Died, at the home, south of town on Tuesday, Jan. 26, 1904, aged 39 years, 9 months and 15 days, Mrs. Emma C. Thompson, beloved wife of Geo. W. Thompson.

Emma C. King was born, April 11th 1864, in Farmington, Iowa.

She was converted in 1883 and was ever afterwards a faithful and devoted follower of Christ.

She was united in marriage to Geo. W. Thompson Jan 26th, 1887, and to this union were born three children, whom with the husband and five stepchildren mourn the loss of a kind and loving wife and mother.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, Jan. 28, 1904, from the Story Chapel, at 10 a.m., Rev. Carlson of Keosauqua officiating. Interrment in the Thompson cemetery.

Brewster&Page were the undertakers in charge.
