Miss Mary Ann Craig, the beloved daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George H. Craig, of Van Buren county, Iowa, was born October 8, 1886, and died of a heart failure at the home of her parents at 12:15 o'clock Wednesday morning, Oct. 22, 1902, at age 16 years and 14 days. The deceased was the youngest of six children, of whom two brothers are already dead, one at the age of 11 years, the other in infancy. Impressive funeral services were conducted by Rev. McElhinny, of Fairfield, after which the remains were laid to rest in the Thompson cemetery, a large concourse of sympathizing friends following, to pay their last tribute.
