Mrs. Wilkin

…being…of death 38 years, …months and 28 days old. Mrs. Wilkin had been in failing health for the past two years, and a short time ago began rapidly to decline and passed away Saturday evening, Sept. 2, at 8 o’clock, loved and respected by a host of friends. She leaves a husband and infant babe, two sisters and two brothers, besides more distant relatives, to mourn their loss. She was a consistent member of the Christian church in Keosauqua, where her funeral was held at 2 o’clock Monday, in charge of her pastor Eld. G.A. Hendricks assisted by Rev. Patterson. The impressive burial services of the Eastern Star of which she was a member were held at the grave. A large audience of people were present to pay their last tribute of respect.
