Mrs. James Robb

…Van Buren Co., Iowa, Sept. 16, 1899. She was married to James Robb in 1853. To them were born nine children, seven of whom are living. The husband died in 1873. She lived on Vernon Prairie until 13 years ago when she moved to Vernon. She was an invalid for seven years preceding her death. She was a good woman. The funeral was held the Monday following her death, Rev. J. Smith in charge, after which the remains were buried by the side of husband in the Vernon cemetery.
