Thomas White, eldest son of James and Jane White, was born in Farmington, Iowa, March 4, 1857. He was married to Miss Nancy Weier January 28, 1886. He died May 23, 1903, and leaves to mourn his departure the sorrowing wife, the mother, three sisters, and four brothers; his father, two sisters and two brothers haveing preceded him to a better world.

Besides his immediate relatives he leaves a host of sorrowing friends who mourn his untimely departure.

The funeral was held form his mother's home, with interment in the Steinmeyer cemetery. The services were conducted by Rev. Ayrault and a large number of neighbors and friends were in attendance.
