William Kenneth, son of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Mackin [ Macklin], died at the home of Friday morning at 8:30 o'clock. The little fellow had not been strong since birth and the doctors were never sure that the weak cord which bound it to this life could be sufficiently strengthened that it might live. On Friday morning the mother fed the child as usual at 4 o'clock and it dropped back to sleep. At the usual hour of arising the mother looked at the baby and as it seemed to be resting to easily decided not to awaken it, and at 8 o'clock she transferred the little form to the bed, thinking that in a few moments if it did not awaken she would arouse it. When nearly 8:30 Mrs. Macklin tried to awaken it but could not do so and becoming frightened ran for assistance and Mrs. Jos. Hinish hurried in, just in time to see the little one breath its last. The little form was laid tenderly to rest in the cemetery here at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon, Rev. Duty officiating. The deep sympathy of many friends is extended to the bereaved.
