Harley Bagby Died at 10:30 This Morning at
Memorial Hospital in Mt. Pleasant; Funeral Monday

Harley F. Bagby passed away this morning at 10:30 o’clock at the Memorial hospital in Mr. Pleasant where he had been a patient since Tuesday when he was taken seriously ill. He has been a sufferer with diabetes for the past five years but had been able to be at his work as manager of the Shell oil station in Mt. Pleasant until Monday.

The body was brought to the Hoskins funeral home today noon and this evening will be taken to the home of his brother, Vern Bagby, 810 West Kirkwood street. The funeral services will be held Monday afternoon from the Methodist church in charge of Dr. U.S. Smith, the exact hour not being decided upon at this time. Interment will take place in Evergreen cemetery.

Mr. Bagby was born in Cantril, Iowa Nov. 28, 1893. The greater part of this life has been spent in Stockport vicinity, going from that place to Mr. Pleasant last May. He was married to Miss Gladys Donald of Stockport and she with a little daughter Barbara survive. His father James Bagby passed away 14 years ago tomorrow. His mother, Mrs. Mary Bagby of Stockport survives also the following brothers and a sister: Harry, Frank, Tom, Vern, and Lawrence of Fairfield, Chester at Stockport and Mrs. Lawrence Keller of Fairfield.
