Died, on the 6th inst., B. G. Barrow, aged 54 years and 27 days.

The deceased was born near Lexington, Ky., but has spent most of his life in Missouri. He and the writer were schoolboys together in Randolph county. I can say I have known him intimately for forty years, and with pleasure can bear testimony to his general good character and moral worth. When quite young he was, upon a public confession of his faith in the Christ, baptized by my father, Allen Wright. He is not a stranger to THE CHRISTIAN and its readers. He had been to Colorado and other places in quest of health. While in Trinidad, he met with Bro. J. K. Rogers, who wrote to me in reference to him.

He was an Elder of this congregation; one of its most energetic members, and always liberal with his means when the cause of Christ demanded it.

Not being benefited in health, he came home to die. He breathed his last in the bosom of his family and surrounded by loving friends.

May God abundantly bless his family and fill them with the consolations of the gospel is the earnest prayer of him who traces these lines, thus offering a feeble tribute to his memory:
