Elizabeth Foster dies at 88

STOCKPORT - Elizabeth M. Foster, 88, of Stockport, died at 10:30 p.m. Saturday at Donnellson Manor Care Center in Donnellson.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua with the Rev. Richard DeVore officiating. Burial will be in Hillsboro Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home at their convenience. Memorials to the Southeast Iowa Blood Bank or Van Buren County Memorial Hospital may be left at the funeral home.

Mrs. Foster was born May 1, 1893 near Glasgow, the daugther of William and Rose Anna Duncanson Carter. On May 7, 1914 she married Everette Foster at Washington. They farmed in the Salem, Stockport and Cantril communities and had lived in Rock Island, Ill., and Oklahoma City. He died in 1974. She had been employed at Fairfield Glove Company and did sewing in her home. She was a member of Hillsboro Christian Church.

Nieces and nephews survive.
