Audley Sturdivant.

Audley J. Sturdivant, son of W. C. and Jennie Sturdivant, was born at the country home near Bonaparte, Iowa, March 6, 1874, and died in Kansas City July 11, 1910, aged 36 years, 4 months and 5 days.

The father and one brother have gone on before, leaving the mother, four brothers, Leslie W., of Kansas City, Mo., Albert M. of Junction City, Kansas, Cleveland H. of Cloquet, Minn., Cass of Bonaparte, and one sister, Mrs. Chas. Eichelberger of Amarillo, Texas.

He had been seriously ill several months, and his mother had gone from her home in Bonaparte to take care of him, which she did until the end.

He was unmarried. There are in Bonaparte and vicinity many friends who sympathize with the bereaved family in their loss, for it was in this vicinity that most of his life was spent.

The remains were brought to Bonaparte Wednesday of last week and funeral services were held at the Baptist church Thursday afternoon in charge of Rev. Hanson.
