HAROLD E. ALLEN

The many relatives and friends in this vicinity will sympathize with Mr. and Mrs. Thomas C. Allen of Fairfield in the death of their only son, Harold E. Allen, who passed away at the Jefferson county hospital Thursday, March 27, after a short illness with pneumonia. He was born Jan. 20, 1924, in Fairfield, and was 17 years of age and a senior at Fairfield high school. For several years he has been a carrier for the Fairfield Ledger.

Surviving are his parents, two sisters, Miss Ruth Allen and Miss Thelma Allen, his grandfather, W. L. Carson and uncle, Glenn E. Carson.

Funeral services were held at the Behner funeral home at Fairfield Sunday afternoon at 4 o’clock in charge of Rev. W. R. Yingling of the Presbyterian church. Burial in Evergreen cemetery, Fairfield.
