The following obituary was given to us by Mrs. Samantha Bonnett of the wife of John Fletcher Anderson, deceased, who was a cousin of Mrs. Bonnett and formerly lived in this community.

Mrs. Eva Anderson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Parson, was born July 31, 1867, in Ohio, and passed away at her home in Emporia, Kansas.

She was married to J. F. Anderson March 2, 1887, in Winthrop, Iowa, and he passed away July 5, in Emporia, Kansas.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Mabel E. Fleming of Kearney, Neb., four sons, Clarence and Chas. Of Emporia, Harry of Farnam, Neb. And Russell of St. Louis; a sister, Mrs. Jennie Eldredge of Watsonville, Calif., and a brother Russell Parson of Hancock, Wisc., and four granddaughter and four grandsons. She was a member of the Free Methodist church.

Funeral services were held at the church on Sunday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Clarence Meinhardt, and burial was in Maplewood cemetery at Emporia, Kansas.
