Death Takes R. Wagner

Ruby Marie Wagner, 52, 608 W. Stone, died Wednesday at 8:07 p.m., at Univesity Hospitals in Iowa City following a week's illness.

The service will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m., at the Keosauqua United Methodist Church with the Rev. John Cornish, minister, officiating. Interment will be in the Pittsburg Cemetery. Arrangements are in charge of the Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua.

The daughter of Thomas and Mabel Knott Lewman, Mrs. Wagner was born Sept. 5, 1924, near Fairfield. On Dec. 23, 1951, she married Robert Wagner at Beaumont, Texas. Most of their married life was spent in Douds and Fairfield.

Surviving are her widower, Robert H. Wagner of Fairfield, and three children by a previous marriage, Edward R. Snell of Stockton, Calif., Ernest L. Snell of Monrovia, Calif., and Patricia M. Harrison of Fairfield; her mother, Mrs. Mabel Lewman of Keosauqua; 11 grandchildren.

Also surviving are two brothers, Thomas Lewman of Douds, Rex Lewman of Libertyville; three sisters, Virginia Beeman of Des Moines, Mary Taggart of Bayside, N.Y., and Betty McCarty of Keosauqua; a stepbrother, Ernest Beverlin of Ottumwa, and a stepsister, Pauline Bruders of Independence, Mo.
