Stirling. At Knoxville, Ill., Sept. 10, 1881, of typho malaria, Anna S., wife of Joseph B. Sterling, aged 25 years, 11 months and 12 days.
Deceased was for several years a resident of this place. As a friend and associate she was loved by all who knew her. She was married to her now bereaved husband December 24th, 1879, going directly to Lewistown, Ill., where they remained till the last week in July, at which time they removed to Knoxville, Ill., where she died last Saturday morning. She leaves one child, a daughter, 7 1/2 months old. By her death her husbnand loses a kind and affectionate wife, and her child a fond and loving mother. The remains were brought to this place for interment, and were followed to the grave Sunday by a large concourse of friends.
