DALE SAUNDERS

Dale Saunders, 66, of Bonaparte, died Wednesday, Oct. 17, at 1 p.m. near his home.

He was born Feb. 24, 1913 at Bonaparte, the son of Trenton and Pearl Dawson Saunders.

He married Gladys Shawen on May 3, 1942, at Concordia, Kans.

A heavy equipment operator, he spent most of his life in the Bonaparte area.

Surviving are his wife, two sons, Larry of Revere, Mo., and Jack of Bonaparte; two daughters, Linda Saunders of Bonaparte and Sandy Bartholomew of Stockport; and five grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents and one sister.

The funeral service was held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Hofbauer Funeral Home at Farmington, with the Rev. Gary Worsham officiating. Burial was in the Bonaparte Cemetery.
