DEATH OF ROBERTA MOORE
Mr. and Mrs. Hollis Moore, near Lebanon, are mourning the loss of their only child Roberta, who passed away about ten o’clock Saturday night. Roberta was the sunshine of the home, idolized by parents, grandparents, aunt and uncle. She was taken ill the first of the year with flu and later rheumatic fever developed and heart trouble. Hope against hope was entertained for her recovery but to no avail. The heart broken relatives have the sympathy of all.
Funeral services were held at the home on Monday afternoon, conducted by Rev. J. C. Slater and the burial was in Lebanon cemetery.
Note: Hand written on the side “Apr. 6, 1929”

OBITUARYDorothy Roberta, the only child of Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Moore, was born near Lebanon, Iowa, September 6, 1918, and passed from this life there Saturday evening, April 6, 1929, at the age of ten years and seven months.
During her illness of ten weeks all that loving hands could do was to no avail, and not even a father’s and mother’s constant care and prayers could keep her. How she will be missed in the Sunday school, in the community and in the school but the loss to the father and mother, no tongue can tell.
She leaves to mourn her loss her devoted father and mother, her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Moore, her uncles and aunts, many relatives and friends.
