MARGARET MURPHY
Miss Margaret Murphy, formerly of Warsaw, Ill, died at her home in Bloomfield, Iowa, Monday morning at 2:15 a.m., November 5th, 1928, at the age of 68 years, 2 months and 11 days.
She was born at Sigourney, Iowa, August 24, 1860, and for the past 20 years had made her home with her sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Kinney, whose funeral was held from this home two weeks ago today. On Sept. 7th, she had a stroke of paralysis and was bedfast and a good sufferer until death relieved her.
These two sisters always hoped they could pass away at the same time and their hope was almost fulfilled.
Miss Murphy’s aim in life was to do for others. She is survived by her brother Albert of Ottumwa, three nephews and three nieces.
Funeral services were conducted at the Kinney home east of Bloomfield, at nine o’clock Wednesday morning, November 7, 1928, by C. V. Allison, pastor of the Christian church. Interment at Warsaw, Illinois.
