BIRMINGHAM - Services for John Frank ANDERSON, 66, native of Birmingham, have been held at the Velda Rose Methodist Church in Mesa, Ariz., with the Rev. Kent Douglas and the Rev. Tom Butcher officiating. Entombment was in the Mountain View Memorial Gardens.

ANDERSON died Dec. 29, 1981, at the Phoenix General Hospital in Phoenix.

John Frank ANDERSON was born Aug. 31, 1915, in Birmingham, the son of John Franklin and Festusina BONNETT ANDERSON. He graduated from the Birmingham High School in 1933 and Iowa Success Business College at Ottumwa.

He was married to Audrey F. LaBELLE in Ottumwa Aug. 25, 1949, who survives.

Other survivors include a daughter, Marcia BOVEY, South Bend, Ind.; a sister, Berdena BAGBY, Stockport, one granddaughter, nieces and nephews.

ANDERSON was associated with International Harvester Co. for 25 years serving in branches in Ottumwa and Davenport, and went to Cedar Rapids as branch manager in 1948. He took early retirement in 1964 after which he entered the real estate business. He formed his own business in 1967.

He retired and moved to Mesa, Ariz., in 1977 where he remained active in the real estate business.

ANDERSON was a veteran of World War II, a member of the Elks Lodge, Kiwanis Club, 32 degree Mason, Velda Rose Methodist Church, and a member of a number of local organizations.
