V. HOSETTE Rites Set
STOCKPORT - Verne E. HOSETTE, 73, retired Stockport farmer, died Sunday at 8:20 p.m, at the Ottumwa Hospital following a long illness.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Aug. 28 at 2 p.m., at the Burch Funeral Home in Birmingham, with the Rev. Chester Werft officiating. Burial will be in the Winchester Cemetery, southeast of Birmingham.
HOSETTE was born Oct. 1, 1900 in Jefferson County, the son of Charles and Mary DROZ HOSETTE. On June 1, 1938, he was united in marriage to Mildred MORRISON, who survives.
Also surviving are the following brothers and sisters, Mrs. Louise WORKMAN of Stockport, Mrs. Bertha STEVENS of Argyle, Josephine HOSETTE of Arlington, Va., and Rollin HOSETTE of New York City.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Bernard.
