MRS. WALTHER.
Mrs. Walther of Nauvoo, Ill., has for several weeks been visiting with her daughter, Mrs. Robert N. Cresap of Bonaparte.
Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Cresap and Mrs. Walther were invited to 12 o'clock dinner at the Sharp Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. Cresap were already at the hotel and Mrs. Walther, with Misses Janie Sharp and Georgia Mohler were walking from the Cresap farm to the hotel.
When they reached Dr. Cresap's office Mrs. Walther told the girls to gether some water for she was choking. It was then 12 o'clock and she was taken to the hotel. Dr. Cresap was called and all things possible were done but at 12:45 Mrs. Walthers was dead.
Her relatives in Nauvoo were at once notified, and two sons, Ed and Walter, arrived on the morning train Monday.
The remains were taken to Nauvoo Monday evening., Mrs. Cresap accompanying her brothers. Funeral services will be held in Nauvoo to-day if possible.
