THE LIFE STORY OF MRS. ANNA BONAR

Mrs. Anna Bonar, 97, died at 3 p.m. Sunday at her home east of Troy. She had been bedfast nine years.
She was Anna Peacock and was born March 9, 1859, the daughter of Clark and Esther Peacock. Her husband Barney Bonar, died in 1915. She had spent all her life at the same farm in Van Buren county.

Surviving are four sons, Clark Bonar of Chicago and Matthew, Paul and Hazen Bonar, all at home, and a daughter, Mrs. Esther Johnson of Lebanon. Mrs. Mabel Miller and Paul Johnson are grandchildren. A daughter Mrs. Nellie Hoskins preceded her in death.

The funeral was held at the Lebanon Methodist church, Wednesday, Dec. 5, at 2 p.m. The Rev. Harold Harryman of Milton officiated.
Burial was in Oak Point cemetery.
