DEATH CLAIMS ELMER NASON

62-Year Old Stock Buyer Dies Saturday in Fairfield

Funeral services for Elmer Nason, 62, who died at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Boon hotel in Fairfield, were conducted Monday morning at 10:30 at the Leando Methodist Episcopal church in charge of the Rev. Eugene C. Beach, of Ottumwa.
Burial was in the Leando cemetery.

Mr. Nason had been a resident of Van Buren county most of his life. He was a farmer and stock buyer. Recently he had made his home at the Boon hotel in Fairfield.

He is survived by his wife, Lillie, and six children, B.F. Nason, of Douds, W.M. Nason, of Selma, Mrs. Wilbur Yarnell, of Douds, Mrs. Ellis Rowe, of Mt. Pleasant, Mrs. Gale Dooley, of Birmingham, and Miss Mabel Nason, of Lexington, Kentucky. A daughter, Mrs. Blanche Gilbert, died less than a year ago.
He also leaves a brother and five sisters.
