HOLD RITES FOR MRS. TOWNSEND

Milton Woman Victim of Heat Stroke
Last Friday Morning

Funeral services were held at the Milton Presbyterian church at 10 o’clock Friday morning, for Mrs. Rocky Townsend, who died at about 7 o’clock last Wednesday evening, following a heat stroke, which she suffered about 3:30 o’clock that afternoon. Services were in charge of the Rev. L. B. Harmon, pastor of the church. Burial was in the Milton Sunnyside cemetery.

Mrs. Townsend would have been 65 years old in October. She had been in failing health for the last two or three years.

She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Glen Campbell, a son-in-law, Glen Campbell and one granddaughter, Roberta Campbell of Milton; four brothers, Clarence, Henry, Ed and John Fisher and a sister, Mrs. Hollis Moore, all of Lebanon. One sister, Mrs. Charles Black preceded her in death.
