Mrs. Nancy Jones, second wife of Mr. John A. Jones, died in Osceola Tuesday night of la grippe. The remains were taken to Van Buren county for burial. Nancy Nixon was born in Fayette county, Pennsylvania, in 1821, and married John A. Jones in 1863. One child their daughter, was born to them,. She was a good woman and will be sadly missed by her bereaved husband and a large circle of friends. -- Osceola Democrat.

The remains arrived here on the 12:30 train last Thursday and were taken by sorrowing relatives to the Dibble cemetery, ten miles northwest of Bonaparte, undertaker Demple having charge. The deceased was a sister of Mrs. J. D. Israel.
