Born in Ohio in 1825, Came to Iowa
In 1849, Died in Bonaparte
January 17, 1903.

JOSEPH SANDERS.

Joseph Sanders was born in Belmont County, Ohio, Oct. 2, 1825 and died in Bonaparte, Iowa, Jan. 17, 1903, aged 77 years, 3 months and 45 days.

He came to Iowa in 1849 and was married to Elizabeth Meek April 5, 1854. Eight children were born to them, five of whom are left to mourn, viz. Mrs. Sage of Hay Spring, Neb., Mrs. Cox of Farmington, Iowa, Wm. Sanders of Memphis, Mo., Enoch Sanders of Haywards, California, and Robert Sanders of Bonaparte.

Funeral services were held at the home Monday at 3 p.m., Rev. Duty conducting the service.
