Clarence McCrary

Bonaparte- Clarence Baxter McCrary, 88 died Wednesday at 11:50 p.m. at Laughan hospital at Kirksville, Mo.

He was born May -- 1870, in Van Buren county. He farmed here for many years, even though he was a graduate of the University of Iowa law school, and a member of the Iowa bar.

His wife Sadie Guthrie, an infant daughter and two brothers and two sisters are dead.
A son, Keith McCrary, of Bonaparte, survives.

Services will be held Dec. 27 at 2 p.m. at Miller funeral home in Farmington. Burial will be in Vernon cemetery.
