Died.

At the home of his sister, Mrs. John Fritsinger, three miles northeast of Bonaparte, Iowa, July 19th, 1892, J. H. Gay, Jr. He was born in Charleston township, Lee county, Iowa. He was the youngest son of J. H. and E. E. [these initials difficult to read] Gay, deceased.

He leaves two brothers and one sister, Mrs. John Fritsinger and W. A. Gay, of Harrisburg, and C. L. Gay, of Hamilton, Ill., to mourn the loss of a beloved brother.

We was a noble hearted young man, and it sad is [sic] to think that he should die so young. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. R. Breeden on Tuesday afternoon.
