DEATH CLAIMS MRS. BALDWIN

Mrs. Garfield BALDWIN, well known resident of the Birmingham and Fairfield communities, passed away last night at Jefferson County Hospital. Her death took place at 11:50 p.m. on her 68th birthday .

Mrs. BALDWIN had lived in the Birmingham community for many years until she moved to a farm at the southwest edge of Fairfield about four years ago. Her former home was three and a half miles northwest of Birmingham.

Last rites will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Weston Behner funeral home with Dr. L. L. Weis in charge. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery at Birmingham.

She was born May 17, 1883 in Jefferson County, Iowa, the daughter of the late Andrew and Sarah RODIBAUGH LAWSON. She was united in marriage to Garfield BALDWIN on December 12, 1900 in Jefferson county. The couple celebrated their golden wedding anniversary last year.

Mrs. BALDWIN was a member of Bethel Methodist Church and a charter member of the Ladies Aid society.

Besides her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Robert KESSEL, Birmingham; two grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Nora HALL, Fairfield.

She was preceded in death by one son, one daughter, and three brothers.
