Temple Vickers.

Temple Vickers died Thursday morning January 17, 1907, at the Vickers home in Bonaparte after having been ill about three weeks with typhoid. The case was a very severe one from its incipiency.

Mr. Vickers was natuarlly a man of considerable strength and rugged construction. Until a few months before his desease he was drayman for the Macklin livery.

Temple Benson Vickers was born in Bonaparte, Iowa, March 14, 1870. He was the youngest living son of ten children born to Mr. and Mrs. Geo W. Vickers.

He was married to Miss Ella M. Brown May 2, 1896 and to this union one daughter, Mona Margaret was born.

He departed this life Jan. 17, of typhoid fever, at the age of thirty-six years, ten months, and three dys. He leaves to mourn his death a daughter, Mona Maraget, three brothers, O. G. Vickes, M. T. Vickers of Mt. Sterling, and L. W. Vickers of Cozad, Nebraska, and three sisters, Margaret Vickers, of Bonaparte, Mrs. Florence Scramilin of Cozad, Nebraska, and Mrs. Alma Wiley of Warren, Idaho. His father, mother, two sisters, and one brother preceded him in death. His father died in 1903 and his mother in 1875.

Those who came from a distance to attend the funeral were Delbert Shirley and T. A. Vickers of Ottumwa, M. F. Vickers and family, and Mellie and Mr. Clyde Wollam of Mt. Sterling.
