Harold MECK

DAVENPORT -- Services for Harold W. MECK, 60, of 711 W. 3rd St., will be 4 p.m. Thursday at Maple Hill Cemetery, Birmingham, Iowa.

There will be no visitation.

Mr. MECK died Monday at Mercy Hospital, Davenport.

Cunnick-Collins Mortuary, Davenport, is in charge of local arrangements.

Raymond Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements in Birmingham.

He worked as a welder at Sivyer Steel, Bettendorf.

He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and served in the Iowa Army Reserve.

He was a former member of Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Memorials may be made to the family.

Survivors include daughters, Deborah (Mrs. Gary) WALLACE, Houston, and Christie (Mrs. David) HALL, Ottumwa, Iowa; a son, Richard, Davenport; six grandchildren; sisters, Leona HOLDER, Des Moines, and Edna CRAFTON, Birmingham; and brothers, Clifton, Donald L., and Raymond L., all of Libertyville, Iowa, and Melvin, Fairfield, Iowa.

(This is my uncle on the paternal side. He was one of 10 children.)
