Albert Hawk was born March 29, '70. Was married to Miss Dora Lackey August 10, 1890, who is left to mourn with two small children. He had been in poor health for some years, and died suddenly Sunday morning, February 19, of heart failure. He was a kind son, a loving husband and indulgent father. Green be his memory. May the good father deal kindly to those who are so suddenly and sadly bereaved. He lived four miles north of Bonaparte. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. R. Breeden, Tuesday, Feb. 21, in the Vernon M. E. church. His remains were laid to rest in the Vernon cemetery, where many of his kindred lie.
