Obituary.

DIED - Mrs. Sarah E., wife of W. W. Entler, at her late residence in Bonaparte, Ia., Monday afternoon at 3:20 o'clock, aged 66 years, 1 month and 16 days.

Mrs. Entler's maiden name was Bodenheimer and she was born Dec. 26, 1822, at East Berlin, Adams county, Pa. She was maried to W. W. Entler in East Berlin, Feb. 2, 1841.

In 1844 they came west and settled in Southeastern Iowa, living in Lee and Van Buren counties when yet a vast wilderness and inhabited by many wild Indians. In 1864 they moved to Bonaparte where they remained until God called her home.

Mrs. Entler's demise was caused by that dreaded disease - apoplexy, of which she had been a patient sufferer for thirteen years, and during that time had eight or nine stokes, each one leaving fatal signs of its deadly work.

The deceased was a firm believer in religion and bore her long suffering with christian fortitude. She was a true, kind and loving mother, ever ready and willing to assist those in distress, and none knew her but to love her. During the thirteen long years of her illness she was faithfully attended by skillful, ever watchful and willing, fatherly, sisterly and brotherly hands, who did all that human skill could invent or devise to prolong and comfort her life, but at last she has been claimed by her maker. She passed from this earth peacefully and triumphantly as in a dream.

Nine children were born of this union of whom two are in Chicago, one in West Point, Io., one in Evansville, Ind., two in Bonaparte, Iowa and three have preceded their mother in that brighter land above.

The bereaved husband and children leave the sympathy of the entire community.
